I think this item is fine for most applications. In my case I have several Ovation guitars that were missing the part that the battery snaps into. I was hoping that these would fit Ovation receiver, but they are not quite right and won't work as is. I may be able to trim them so they work, but my only other option would be to replace the part the battery holder slides into.

Use: Guitar repair. No screws were included. Its just sitting there in the guitar while I try and find screws. I'll have secure it with electrical tape.
