They're clear acrylic tubes cut to different lengths. They works, but definitely not as well as glass. A little on the small side too, anyone with chubby fingers is probably not going to be able to use them. Edges aren't sharp, but they're not rounded either. De-burred enough to keep it from accidentally cutting you, but not nearly as comfortable as a nice rounded edge.

Nice option to have a couple of slide length options but I tend to stick to the longer one even for a cigar box guitar. Fit good but feels like it should be a little bit heavier. Seemed to perform fine outside of not being used to shorter slides and they moved a bit on my finger.
