Nice weight for a beginner Dobro player like me. Does not make me a better player but it is getting me there. Plus it is a Dunlop.

I have always used a 'bullet bar' and thought I should try one of these. The quality of this bar is outstanding, flawless....perfect......but I don't like it as much as a bullet bar. I will continue to use it and see if I can get used to it, but for now I still the other type.

I'm new to lap steel. Nonetheless its ergonomic and I think I'll get my chops quicker with this bar. I'm pleased.

Couldn't use the round ones or bottle. This slide is easy to use, easy to hang onto. For a clutz like me, the perfect slide. Rides nicely on the strings.

I use this with a "nut-riser" onna old MIJ strat-type, which I prefervs. a standard lap-steel. I bought it to do Nels Cline, and it's perfect for that, and for more standard country. The bar sounds a little different than a slide-on-yer-finger slide, even tho' it's the same concept, and because of it's weight you end up playing different, also.

A very smooth finish bar in the Stevens bar style. The top flutes are a little more rounded than my old Stevens bar, so it's more comfortable.
