This has been huge for me. I am taking a course on guitar repair, and these are perfect for helping me avoid scraping up my guitar necks. The varied sizes are great for protecting across the different fret spacing as you move up the neck. The rubber bands are a nice touch to keep it stable while working with them.Overall, this has been a great kit! I don't use the polish blocks too much, I prefer the polish paper, but the guards are the real gem in this, and they work fantastically.

This is a perfect tool for jagged, tattered, and frets that just need maintenance. The sharpening stone is a perfect size with each side having a different grit. I'm very pleased with the product and the manufacturer. I recommend every guitar player that likes to keep up the maintenance on their own guitar(s) to purchase it.

Great price , if you’re meticulous about your instruments , during a re string GREAT PRODUCT for really refreshing your instruments throw a piece of painter tape tight to the fret , then attach the finger board protector while cleaning up with oooo super fine steel wool. The kit came with a nice leveling stone which is nice to knock off the sharp edges on the frets while you still have the painters tape, I actually bought 2 sets so I put a 90* bend on one of the wider finger board protectors to cover the neck while I was dressing the fret ends ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This set comes with two narrow fretboard protectors, two wide fretboard protectors, two "grinding stones" and a few rubber bands. The rubber bands are used to hold the fretboard protectors in place. The fretboard protector should fit most guitars and basses. I tried them out on the highest fret on six-string and seven-string guitars and a four-string bass. I don't have a 5-string bass or 8-string guitar to try this on. The protectors will prevent damage to the fretboard while working on frets. There are no instructions or description of the "grinding stones". There is no way to compare them to any type of fret file, sandpaper, emery paper, steel wool, or fret eraser. The two stones I received are almost identical. One has the same texture on all four sides and the same on three sides of the second stone. The fourth side on the second stone is much more course than all the other seven sides. I think they are too course to be considered "polishing stones", so I'm not sure exactly how they would be used. I tried it out on a fret on a guitar that I don't care about, and I don't think these are intended to be used on frets. I could be wrong, but to me it seems like these are the wrong tool.I got this for the fret protectors, but thought if these were fine polishing stones, it would be good to have. I will be using the fret protectors, but I am not going to be using the grinding stones.
