I ordered this version intending to use it primarily on the countertop. For that reason, I chose the 2000 watt model that works with everyday, grounded power outlets and voltage, including my smaller generator. Be sure to double check and match your power supply and use.We tested it out this past weekend on a balmy late spring evening whipping up a new smash burger style taco recipe on a table outdoors. The cooktop was easy to handle, move and use. I used it directly on top of a plastic table, where it provided an easy alternative to open flame style cooking methods, which often require more preparation and clean up. It’s easy to adjust and quickly move this cooktop indoors when needs or the weather change.I previously had a single burner induction cooktop and was excited to get one with two burners, which adds a lot more flexibility.It’s cool that there are even bigger and more elaborate options, but I imagine those will have special plug and voltage requirements. This seems perfect for what I need.

I’ve been using this Pladeca 12-inch double burner for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly exceeded my expectations. I live in a small apartment with limited kitchen space, and this unit is the perfect blend of form and function. It looks sleek with the ceramic glass surface and touch controls, and it heats up quickly—even though it's running on a standard 120V outlet!The 2000W total output is more than enough for daily cooking. I’ve used it to boil water, sauté veggies, and even slow-cook stews. The touch controls are intuitive, and the built-in timer is a lifesaver—I can set it and walk away without constantly hovering. I also appreciate the safety features like automatic shut-off and the child lock; those give me peace of mind when cooking around family.One thing I would recommend for new users: make sure your cookware has flat bottoms. This cooktop works best with good contact, and a warped pan will not heat evenly. Also, the pause function is surprisingly handy—something I never thought I’d need until I had it.Whether you're outfitting a small kitchen, RV, or just need an extra cooktop, this unit is a fantastic buy. It's UL-listed, solidly built, and very easy to clean. Highly recommended!

This 2-burner ceramic cooktop is definitely not your grandma's hot plate. It is as functional as it is futuristic-looking, and super-easy and fast to install and use. I love that it can be used on a countertop or more permanently-installed as a countertop drop-in. It's heats up and cools down quickly and evenly, is has features that makes it safe to use by anyone from children to the elderly. The size makes it easy to use and store most anywhere, and cleaning after use is a breeze. I'm looking forward to having this cooktop during the end-of-year holiday season when having an extra burner or two available is always helpful. For the use I plan to get from it's use, it is well worth the price.

All of the listing pictures show this as a built-in unit. But this is a plug-in unit. I guess you could build it in, if you have a plug underneath, but you can use this anywhere there’s an electrical outlet. I like using it on the patio / deck. . . Especially when cooking something smelly. It’s the type of cooking surface which you can use with any sort of pots / pans.This cooktop is Made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of $130. . . I think it’s probably twice the price it should be, but overall I like it.

This is a solid unit. It has good weight so it won't slide around while cooking. The controls are wattage based, instead High Med Low, or a numerical value. I don't like that, but you learn where you need to cook things. The cord was safe and secure. It's not loose or flimsy. Unit gets very hot and can easily boil liquids and fry food. It lays flat and does not move around while cooking. It provides a quick and easy way to just plug in a unit and cook. Sturdy, feels well-made. No issues so far.

There are so many possibilities for this little cook top. It has a low profile and only takes up a small amount of counter space. One of the uses we found is to use it with non-metallic glass and ceramic cooking pots. Since our main range is induction, we could no longer use those pots. It's also very useful when having an outdoor gathering and you need to keep something warmed and ready to serve. It's great because it runs on 120 volts AC and the burners get quite hot, considering they are not running on 240 like a built-in appliance.This cook top is operated completely by touch controls on the face of the glass at the front of the cooktop and a bright red digital display clearly indicates the setting chosen and warns if a burner is still hot after use. The back burner offers adjustable controls ranging from 1 to 9 on the digital display and provides 1400 watts of heat. The front burner is only adjustable between a low or high setting and provides 600 watts of heat. Added together at their highest setting is where the 2000-watt rating comes from.It’s great that this unit can be built into a countertop using the provided hardware or you can use it as a standalone portable cook top, which is how I am using it. This is an attractive looking portable appliance that has many possibilities.

I recently installed this electric cooktop and it works great. Heats up super fast and the touch controls are easy to use. I like that it has 5 burners with different sizes, perfect for cooking multiple things at once. The glass surface looks sleek and is easy to clean too. Definitely a great upgrade for my kitchen.
