Used these to make "neon signs" as a project for my kid's birthday party. We used easily bendable wire to create shapes and then attached the EL wire to the metal wire with clear tape. You can cut the EL wire to size if needed, which was super helpful.This made for a very fun, cost-effective project for the girls (9-10 years old mostly) and I think it also bought me some points with my daughter's friends.This is not daylight bright, but shines just fine in the dark. After a few nights of leaving this on in her room at night, it did die... so the battery life isn't that long.We loved the wide choice of colors.

These put off VERY little light. for the right application they are fine, but not really ideal

Wish these were brighter. Unfortunately find this out after assembling our project. Might just be a limitation of EL wire relative to LEDs!Some units have a high pitched coil wine (EL wire is AC so it's the conversion). Not an issue for us but could be annoying for others.

Barely visible when lit. Don’t expect any sort of burst of color. In daylight you can barely see much at all. Dark environments needed.

I bought a pack of 16ft El wire from the same seller that came greatBased on that going so well, I purchased this 30pk.These El wire lights and battery packs are not similar to the 16ft El wire and battery packs-The lights themselves are thinner and off color than even other brands. Felt of cheap quality compared to the 16ft El wires-The battery packs for every one of these 30 El wires were faulty. They light up your wire, but they don't blink or even turn off after being turned on. I have to remove the batteries for the light to turn offDon't do it

Sorry cool and easy to use, bright and it's really nice out came with individual battery packs.
