Your cart is empty.Glass is a universal print surface for 3D Printing. Almost all types of filament will print to glass in one way or another. Just place the glass on your print board and clip it in place! To print with ABS or PLA, lightly spray the surface of the glass with AquaNet hairspray, then install the glass. For Nylon, we’ve found a light coating of UHU Glue stick seems to do the trick! If you don’t yet have a glass surface, you’ll want this one! This glass has been specially ordered and modified for use in 3D Printers. This type of glass is not available at your local hardware store or big box home center. Size: 300mm x 300mm x 3mm (11 3/4″ x 11 3/4" x 0.125"), good fit all 3D Printers with 300mm x 300mm or bigger printbed.

Though a couple of millimeters smaller than advertised, it actually works really well and performs as intended. Clean, level, and sticks and releases really well when used with gluestick. No real complaints.

After about a month, a chunk of glass about 1" long bonded to one of my abs prints and pulled out from the bed leaving a crater.

I love printing on glass. It gives a firm, repeatable surface to print on and a lovely shine to the bottom of my prints. Just make sure you have a good method of holding it to the bed, as binder clips can be troublesome. I've had layer shifting issues due to the bed moving slightly.

About 6 months in and a print took chunks of glass right up. Didn't even pry it up, just came off with the print.
