Looks great, works great. I used this to add an external exhaust duct for my stove vent. I like that is has a metal screen, so pests or birds can't go inside. I looks nice and feels durable. I would not recommend this for a clothes dryer vent.

Weiworld 304 Stainless Steel Round Exhaust Grille Louvered Vent with Screen Mesh 4 inchVery well built of stainless, it will last forever.BUT, the screen is located on the vents grill. The hood sticks out about 3 inches on the outside with the exit hole cut in the lower half.If you live in a rural area, you will have a concern with critters, we have mud daubers that build mud nests anywhere they have a protected space. This helmet is the perfect place for them to build a nest.You will need to add a screen to the outside opening to keep them out.Otherwise, this is a very nice product.RECOMMENDEDI do not know the seller nor did I get any money or product for my random review230325 1337

This is an easy to install well-built solid exhaust end cap. Unlike many plastic items that can crack under high heat or cold. This unit is solid, and it offers a hood to keep outside weather from getting in.

Sturdy and seems well made. The exit opening is a bit restrictive of pipe size so be sure you can tolerate the static pressure. Luckily it did meet my specific requirements. There is no back draft damper with these but one with a built-in back draft damper would be great

I used this to cover the insulated heat pipe containing the exhaust from the natural gas generator in my garage. I needed something that could withstand temperatures considerably hotter than a dryer and this stainless cover is built from top quality materials to handle it. I have no doubt this will be keeping bugs and other critters out of my generator exhaust for many years to come.

Worked well and looks nice. I expect it to last several years.The edges are very sharp. They include a set of gloves. You could easily cut yourself during installation.

This is an extremely good idea, but not for a clothes dryer. Within a week my dryer was taking 2-3 times longer to dry clothes. I was sure the heating eliment was going out on my 13 year old dryer...bummer. Then I noticed the flow sense light was showing 3-5 bars (should not be any bars). Had my husband go out and see if exhaust tube needed cleaning. To our surprise the dryer lint was not being allowed to pass through the small wire holes and it was half way stopped up with lint. He replaced this well made domed steel vent with my old plastic one...bummer. My dryer now works perfect again. Had the wire screen been removable I’d have kept it.
