I like this splitter—it’s great for plugging in two pieces of equipment that use the same prongs. The 3-foot length is short, but it's easy to use. However, you need to be cautious not to overload the electrical portion. Only one device should be used at a time to avoid exceeding the 30-amp limit. It’s handy for not having to constantly switch equipment around, but remember to use it safely!

This NEMA 14-30 Splitter is perfect and it's exactly what i was in need of for my dryer. With this splitter, when ever there is a power outage, I won't have to worry about unplugging my dryer to power a few household items. The only thibg that i have to worry abouy it operating the devices on each split simultaneously and not together to prevent a surge and that's a a very minor issue in comparison to the benefits of having a splitter. So, I'm very happy and so is my husband. We can also use it to run appliances in out rv during a power outage. Its very handy and versatile. Thisnis a must have and this brand makes a quality product.The construction is nice and durable. Very long lasting product.The cable is 10 AWG wire with a 600V jacket rating, plenty good for a 30A EV circuit.The molded connectors are perfect and I love the grab handles to pull apart the connectors - so much easier.

It's sturdy, well-made, and has made it so much easier to power multiple devices simultaneously. The yellow color makes it easy to spot, and the 3-foot cord provides ample length for most setups. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and it's held up perfectly. If you're looking for a reliable splitter for your RV or other high-power applications, I highly recommend this one.

This 30Amp NEMA 14-30 Y Splitter Adapter Cord is a handy and cheap way to split power from 14-30P plugs into two 14-30R outlets. I used it to split an outlet between a dryer and an EV charger to save a lot of money running dedicated lines in a vacation home.The cord has heavy-duty construction with a pull handle for removal of the plugs. The cord has thick insulation and feels of high quality materials to make it resistant to wear and overheating, providing peace of mind during operation. Its compact Y-splitter design minimizes clutter and maximizes accessibility, especially in tight spaces.The only downside is that you must manually confirm that both lines are NOT in use at the same time or you will overload the circuit, wiring and breaker. That can cause melting and a popped breaker and a fire if the breaker fails to pop off. You must use this with extreme caution if you try share the circuit this way.Bottom Line: This can be an inexpensive way to share a rarely used dryer outlet without the wear and tear of constantly removing and swapping cords, but you must be sure the devices are not in use at the same time. For a little more money you can get a switch that will ensure they are not used at the same time. I recommend this for the quality of the product, with a caution to use it properly.

I tested the ZOVAYA NEMA 14-30 plug splitter on a 30A dryer. During an entire drying cycle, I dind't feel any warm spots on the wire. I also tested the resistance of every wire in the adapter and found they were all under 0.1 ohms. Each plug has a loop of plastic you can slide your fingers through to grip and pull the plug apart from whatever it connects to. Unfortunately, it has a fake Intertek ETL safety testing logo.ZOVAYA is yet another seller with a few new products and no web site or support number. They'll eventually disappear and return with a new name rather than support the products they've sold or suffer poor reviews of long-term quality.The ETL mark on the cable includes the number 4000052 which doesn't show up in the online ETL database. Real ETL testing costs a lot of money so forged labels are common in products from sketchy sources. Real ETL products will also list other safety information, such as voltage, amperage, or environmental ratings (ie, outdoor use, temperature ratings, etc) and that's all missing on this cable.So who knows where these cables really come from or how well they're constructed internally. I'm just hoping there's enough plastic over the wires to reduce the risk of fire if something shorts or burns out internally.Overall, the cable I got works, but I dock two stars for using a fake ETL safety testing mark such that there is no assurance of how safe these cables actually are.

I received this ZOVAYA NEMA 14-30 splitter well packaged in excellent condition. Out of the box excellent quality weight construction. All connections fit secured tight and flush to each other. I got this to split my garage heater that I connect to my dryer outlet(previously I disconnected dryer cord to connect my garage heater cord, and vise versa). I only use the heater in the garage on cold days when I'm working out there, and I only use my dryer a couple times a week. I will NOT use both at the same time and I don't recommend!This splitter also includes sturdy handles on the plug connections which I used to mount secured to my heavy duty wall mount bracket and tucks in up behind the dryer. Highly recommended.

Needed a way to charge my car, and also run my dryer.This was my solution as I also needed a proper extender for my cable.This 14-30 splitter worked really well since I have the adapter for 14-30 for my car and my dryer outlet is wired for 14-30 as well.Solid construction, and heavy weight (i'm hoping) means a solid product.I can only hope its using solid core copper, but i'm not sure, but the weight and insulation seems good.along with the connectors it seems well made
