Install was easy and it looks good. It is a slight tight fit to the freedom panels with the Mopar headliner but it still fits and operates as it should. Can still reach visors and front panel switches easily.

I like the storage itself, the mounting is bs on a jku. You mount it how they say and it forces the freedom to up and creates a lot of wind noise. I modified the brackets to get the brackets to clear the tops. I would think vdp would be able to design brackets that would fit without modification.

I love this thing going to buy one for the wife's Jeep.only thing I don't like is how shallow it is.easy install, mine came with 2 sets of straps.going to install my CB into it.

I love this overhead storage. Easy install. Does not get in the way of soft, hard, or bimini top. There is a hard to access space in the middle that things tend to migrate to, but I found this space to be perfect for storing tie downs. They take up the whole middle space, keeping other objects out, but are easy to get to. On the driver side I keep my wallet, sunglasses, and registration plus road food up there for easy access. On the passenger side I keep a flashlight, knife, tire pressure gauge, and deflators.

I installed this overhead console in my 2011 JK Wrangler 2-DR. Installation was easy and straight-forward, and the product is as-described and sturdy. It's not visually stunning, but it's not intended to be. It adds the additional storage space I was looking for, and it works well, but it does block a portion of the open roof, particularly when using the 'Sunrider' feature of the soft top or when the 'Freedom Panels' are removed from the hard top. It also makes the sunvisors a little more difficult to use and makes the front latches a bit tougher to operate, but both of these gripes are pretty minor inconveniences.

Perfect. Received iit yesterday and installed iit this morning. Took all of 15 minutes. My JKk has the sunrider soft top feature which made the install quick and easy. Not a crazy amount of storage room, but enough to make it worth buying.
