Like the probe hook and pin work well. Whole lot easier then trying to use a straight pin.

Not the usual junk clip leads. THERE IS REAL COPPER WIRE of good size and SOLDERED onto the GOOD SQUARE and functional Clip leads. I'm impressed and buying a 2nd set. Not the usual orient junk of a hair size wire crimped on. Been doing electronics for 50 years and too many times have to redo clip leads with good wire. Not on this set!

A primary function for test probes is to connect a multimeter, scope, or other measurement device or function generator to various points on a circuit. So you want your banana plugs connected to your measurement/generator device and then have options for the other end of the wire. This kit works in reverse. The probes go on the banana plugs, then you're left with the croc clamps to connect to your scope, generator, etc... About the only thing you can make that work with is binding posts on a power supply.Still giving it 3 stars because once you set the accessory probes to the side, it's a nice budget set of banana-to-croc leads.
