Good for drilling out barrels in my 40k minis.There are multiple extremely small drill bits.I recommend drilling a very small hole and redrilling with larger bits as needed.

The vise is plastic and only good for light duty. The bits are dull.

yeah this pin vise is a mini one. but my pinvise is fully metal no plastic part to strip out.other then its is a lot smaller then i expected, the clamp itself is not as i had hoped. its full plastic. and need to be worked in a bit before it functions smoothly. and its also fairly small, prefect for my scale of need but the images sure make it seem bigger for both items. for model making, jewelry, diorama tools this set is great for the price its a bargain, its all smaller then it looks but its quality vs price is there... for someone needing low cost tools to do some small detailed work... you cant really go wrong with a basic set up like this... get used to the work at this scale and move up to better quality if your really getting into it. for experienced hobbyists and model makers, this is low low cost and youre getting what you pay for.the pin vise IS all metal. this does matter. the typical plastic chuck tightener piece in many pin vises found here on amazon will eventually strip and you cant tighten the chuck to hold the tool from spinning once torque is applied. this mini pin vise has a metal chuck tightener piece... i appreciate that most.

This is an easy to use hand drill. I have used it to drill in to my resin castings and to drill out holes in the charms I have resin cast. Very happy with this drill. The only "con" so far is the vise that came with it isn't heavy so I would recommend clamping it to your work space somehow and I honestly didn't care for it so I am not really using that piece.
