This is really too small to provide a very good seal. As far as weather stripping goes, it works fine. But the diameter isn't large enough to feel most gaps you'll encounter on a vehicle.

Have an old jeep I used this on to seal the tailgate from getting fumes in the cabin. Worked really well. Definitely can seal a large gap, yet has plenty of cusion to squeeze into tight gaps also. The adhesive seems to stick good, just make sure to clean the surface you plan on sticking this too really well.

The images show that this is replacing the weather stripping on the doors and the cabshell. Not even close. Doesnβt fit. The original weather stripping is at least 1β-2β wide and has special curves factory molded to custom fit the door openings. This stuff is barely 3/8β without any type of factory shaping . In order to submit this review I have to give at least 1 star. It deserves ZERO STARS.RETURNING!!!

We have a Jeep JK and as many Jeep owners know, they leak if not maintained properly. I replaced all the gaskets on the freedom tops but wanted to go a step further and seal the doors better. These weather strips did the trick. Placed around the body side of the door opening, they help make seal to seal contact and prevents water from entering the Jeep. I tested with with a good amount of water and also left it out in the rain, no leaks!

This seal is relatively good quality and has good elasticity as well as good adhesion. However, it's just way too small. I couldn't get a good measure of the door gap in my sprinter van prior to ordering this but this seal only covered about 2/3rd of the gap. It didn't touch the opposite side so it was not useful in my case. It should be able to work in tighter gap situations like sedan doors though.

Well-made seal. Used for a door crack with approximately 1/2" gap. The supplied adhesive is a bit weak, so it was secured using a dab of contact cement. Good flexibility provides ease of installation and allows door to close smoothly with a tight seal. Great value!

I got this to replace the trim around the rear sliding doors in my van. Although the seal is slightly thinner than the original, it seems to be working great and fitting well. They used quality rubber and 3M adhesive, so it is good quality weather stripping and good noise reduction. I was able to install it myself with no issues, even in cold weather. There is definitely decent value for the price charged.
