I used these to fit over my 3/4" EMT conduit as caps when using as wood rack shelves. You have to twist on on and they are tight but that means they will stay on. Worked just as I had hoped. BTW, the EMT is actually just shy of 15/16", so they will strech just a little, but I don't think they would stretch to 1".

I bought these because many came in the pack, and I know they won't last long on cement and will wear fast. Not an issue as there is 32.
