Excellent option to buy more time on an old dryer. It fit/worked great for a year and then stopped working. I would still rather spend the $20 for a year than several hundred to replace my dryer.

Super simple to replace and keeps my 20 year old dryer doing it's job.I keep one as back up, lasts about 2-3 years on average. 10-15 minute job to swap.When I swap the broken one, I order a new one so that I am always ready.

This is the second time we purchased this heating element for our Whirlpool dryer. After 19 years the manufacture dryer element failed. We purchased this one and it lasted almost 2 years before it failed, so we purchased another. A lot less expensive to replace the heating element (an easy fix) than to purchase a new dryer.

The heating coils are not capable of handling the electric current delivered by the WED7500GC0 Whirlpool Oasis dryer. These heating coils melted and fell apart in just about 6 weeks, conveniently for the manufacturer, just outside the return window. DO NOT EVER USE THIS HEATING COIL FOR THIS DRYER BECAUSE IT IS A FIRE DANGER!!!!

Fits maytag dryer! For the price, you can't go wrong. Dryer getting hot again is always nice!Update: died after 5 months, ordered another because fastest shipping available, will be ordering a spare with thermal fuse for when this one goes south. Still a good deal at price compared to name brand.
