I recently had to replace my heating element and sensors on my Samsung dryer, and a week later my mother had the same issue happen with her Samsung dryer. It was an easy fix to replace the element and sensors, and we save hundreds of dollars in service calls! In the case of my mother, she was going to get a new dryer, so we saved her about $800 by ordering these parts and doing the work ourselves. The hardest part of this job was taking the dryer apart to get the the element and sensors...which really isn't "hard"...it's just tedious. It is an economical way to get more life from your Samsung dryer. I highly recommend!

I install probably five of these per week. I've been using this brand for a while. I'm a service technician for 30 plus years in Hot Springs Arkansas.My OEM supplier charges me around $150 to $175 on average for just the element inside of the casing.But with this coming with the high limit as well as the thermostat it makes it a fantastic deal.I would urge any of you who have never done your own heating element replacement to buy it like this instead of trying to disassemble the housing and all the extra work that comes with doing it to save a very few dollars.Plus when you're replacing the heating element you really need to replace these other parts that's the same time to keep you from having to do it again in a year or so when one of the other parts fails.When you open your dryer up and get to the heating element you'll notice there's a bracket in the front that you will have to remove and then the whole assembly will come out. Simply use the bracket on your new heater and take the wires off of the old unit and put them in the same place as the new.One small thing that I find more important than anything is anytime I do a dryer repair I bring my shop vac and get every bit of lint buildup inside of the dryer out. There are 15,000 in America every year from dryer lint fires.Text just a couple of extra minutes to have the inside of that dryer squeaky clean. A little WD-40 around the barrel Wheels where they roll on the studs would help as well. Little squirt on the pulley wheel would help.Reassemble and pat yourself on the back cuz you just did something that probably only 5% of the population can do.And feel good about doing it correctly the first time.
