This was a perfect fit for my air conditioner. Before you order, you need to be sure it's the correct part for your application. I was just waiting for the existing condenser to fail. So I already had a replacement. I ordered this as a backup for the next failure.

I replaced the old, Jard Brand cap in my AC unit yesterday. When I replaced it with the same Jard Brand with the same part number, the old one was installed in the Spring of 2018 and was very rusty. The original cap lasted 5 years which says something about the durability of this brand. I think I'll purchase another one to be used when this one needs to be swapped out. Cheers!

This was a very easy fix to rejuvenate my old HVAC. I knew to try it because it happened a few years ago and cost me a few hundred bucks for service. Another summer for this 20+ year old Air conditioner under our belts now and still working.
