I bought the camp air sleeping mat on the website description. It showed this camp air bag that would fill it. It won’t even fit the valve. It’s way too small. It’s a very inaccurate web description now I have to return it and I bought an electric pump and you better get a very strong one or it won’t fill up for.

We recently picked up a two-person 4" tall air mattress which can either be inflated via its built-in foot pump or an external air bladder such as this Kampair Sack, or via an electric air-blower. Well, we're glad we tried out inflating the new air mattress using the built-in foot pump prior to taking it camping because we quickly learned that it would take the average person about an hour to pump it up using the built-in foot pump. Sheesh, that was horrible.Enter this handy and compact Sleeping Pad Pump Sack from Kampair. This thing is exactly what you need if you're in a similar situation. The best thing about this method of inflating your air mattress is that you can literally do it anywhere on Earth. No batteries required and it doesn't plug into electricity, it just works simply and reliably and the bladder is large enough that we had our air mattress filled up in about six sack-fulls.The fact that you can also use it as a stuff sack seems brilliant to us too. So when you buy this you get two camping accessories for the price of one.

Is this a good pump sack? Well, yes and no. I'll break it down in to Good and Bad, with the Improvement at the bottom.Good:- The material is sturdy and high quality with good workmanship.- The size of this sack, 35l is bigger than many, so you can fill your sleeping pad faster!- The waterproofing and stitching is good so you can use it as a dry bag as well.Bad:- The material! It's thick and heavy! This is NOT lightweight as far as pump sacks go. You can easily find other pump sacks that weigh 2oz or less. One picture in the description under the volume shows "0.20oz", I have no idea why. The written description accurately says 6oz. Also, BECAUSE of the material that makes it heavy, it is also not that compact. It is far better to use it as a bag for clothes or something than to try to fold it up and pack it.- The nozzle for filling. It is fiddly. There is a sleeve thing that is probably to help it seal, but it likes to bunch up so it's difficult to get it into the sleeping pad valve.- Also, the nozzle for filling has two other problems. One is that there is no one-way valve. It doesn't say it's supposed to have one, and many sleeping pads DO, so that wasn't a deal breaker; but many pump sacks have them. Then the placement of the nozzle makes it difficult to use. Depending on where you are connecting to, it makes filling the pad slow because the sack or pad gets kinked and you are trying to force air through that. It can cause it to pop off the pad, and then you have to struggle to install it again. All that aside, I love using this to fill my sleeping pads, including a double mattress. It makes quick work of them once I got the hang of it. I have no doubt that it will last for years.-- I also made a small improvement by taking a small piece of vinyl tubing and using it as an adaptor for the sack so it fits other style valves. Now I can use it with my Klymit pads and others with the external valve. I did heat the tubing up a little and stretch it out so that it is easier to get on those mats, but the other end went onto this pump sack well. I used a small piece of 5/8" to accomplish this.

First of all, if it's windy, it probably helps to get more air in the bag. If it's not windy and dead calm evening, you may be either spinning with this bag holding in your hands trying to get air or running around AND you only end up getting about a half the bag of air.Once the valve is open, there is no vent in the valve to prevent air from unnecessarily leaking. So, you have to be quick. I was trying to inflatable sleeping pad with it. I needed up blowing it with mu mouth, which was WAY FASTER.So, for its purpose, I would only give two stars, but when you are camping and need carry bag full of water from the river, this may come in handy to carry water, sand or even fish but not my first choice to use to inflate something with.

So I liked this for a stuff sack for my camp bedding & liked the idea of using it as a pump sack for my sleeping pad. Theoretically I should have been able to roll up my sleeping pad, sheet and camp pillow to fit into the bag - the listed dimensions support it - however the interior linine is rubber like and it is super hard to get anything cloth into it, just sticks to the sides. The rubber-ish lining is great for waterproofing but if I cant get my stuff into it easily then it's kind of useless. The pump part of the sack works just fine. I have used many before so the mechanics are simple and straightforward. If you have never used one just practice a bit at home and it'll be super easy when you are at the site. The spout fit my pad just fine. IDK if I will use it or not - just dont want to be wrestling with it when I break camp - I just know it will annoy me. Plus it is a bit to long really - extra mass and bulk I dont need.

This product was shipped with no user instructions, so plan to refer only to what is in the item description and photos. The bag pump is only as reliable as the thin rubber seal that covers the hard plastic port. First use was fine, however the second use the very thin rubber seal rolled up. Plan to patiently unroll the seal for each use going forward. Also, plan to be patient when the seal fails (pops out of mattress) and you have to insert the port and twist to attempt to get a decent seal. The Kampair mattress worked great but I plan to return the pump and seek alternate bag pump that will hopefully fit this mattress, otherwise I will look for a completely different portable setup. For $30, I would think a decent rubber port would not break the bank on this design. Lastly, if the thin seal tears or rolls off, the item is useless.
