I needed a sand change and decided to try these.They work alright.I don't believe they are as efficient as sand filtration.They did absolutely catch particles and some green.I washed them and dried them that was easy.So the are definitely reusable.However, after consideration, I decided to continue using sand.I can backwash sand and don't have to take my filter apart to wash the balls.

I've been using sand all these years. I had to read that pool filter balls did an excellent job of cleaning the water, but I was skeptical. Skepticism REMOVED! If you want blue water, this is the way to go. They clean fast and they clean well, and they are far lighter than sand. The balls even clean up nicely, although they can be a bit yucky to deal with. But wash them with your hose come out toss them in the washing machine, and they're ready for round two. Yes, they are plastic, and there's that microplastic thing, but they function perfectly, fit easily, and they're a good value.

For the money, it doesn't really add up compared to other competitors. But in a pinch, it works well and does what it says. So no complaints. Just with it was better priced for what it is.

These filter balls come in a shrink wrapped bag. A laundry bag is included, but it is so flimsy and small. It will not hold all the balls. But I guess it will do the job for a while. Filter balls are so much lighter weight and easier to deal with than pool sand. I’ve been using them for years to keep my pool crystal clear. I love that you can just take them out and put them in the washing machine as needed. These balls seem dense and nice quality and I expect they’ll last a couple of years.

Item arrived timely and as described. The filter balls arrive shrink wrapped but quickly expand once out of the bag. They are a great value for the money, easy to use and install into any sand filter. They last for weeks or months depending on the hardness of your water or if you are cycling your pool. I have also used them in jacuzzi filters as well, the portable jacuzzi's in replacement of the hard filter. They can be rinsed and dried out and reused if needed.

I am new to above ground pool ownership and am trying to learn all that I can. The above ground pool I purchased came with a sand filter and included filter balls. This is the first time I have ever seen (or used) these and it is a LOT easier to use that pounds of sand! I wanted to order another set to use when I change out the current filter balls to clean/wash. That is why I ordered the Svkipibe 1.76 lb set of filter balls. They come shrink wrapped in a bag. Just open it, let them expand, and follow the instructions on this listing! They are clean, lightweight, and work! I don't know why anyone would still bother with sand and the hassle of that. Get these filtering balls and make your life a lot easier.
