I would say that these coir window box liners consist of a better than average amount of fiber. This coir material is obviously of excellent quality, both thick and firm enough to support many pounds of soil and plants. They arrived as square flats of dry fiber consisting of countless tiny holes through which water, air and heat circulate providing an exchange of moisture, air and warmth needed to produce healthy plants. After about a half hour’s soak in warm water, they were pliable enough for me to shape them into the bottom and sides of my largest metal framed window boxes. Their size of 36 inches long and 8 by 9 inches high and wide makes them exceptionally spacious ensuring that the roots will have plenty of room to stretch and grow downward and outward without forming a spiral encircling each other.Due to this being February, the next step for the use of these liners will be three months from now in the month of May. The window boxes will then be filled with potting soil and the seedlings that I will have grown from seed indoors during the late winter months. And…if I have come to this point with having done everything somewhat correctly, the window boxes will be on our picket fence and soon be overflowing with colorful petunias from spring through summer and fall.In my opinion, this is a very good brand of liners and well worth reordering next year when I will be again transplanting flowers from indoors to outside. They are wider and deeper than most other liners that I have seen. The extra space gives the roots more room to spread and better allows the flowers to flourish.

These coco liners are just like the ones you'd see at any store’s gardening section. The price is unbeatable for the quality. I'm really satisfied with them, and they'll fit my needs perfectly.

The 3 liners arrive in a vacuum sealed bag. This caused the liner fibers to stick together tightly. I found it difficult to spread open the liner to put into the window box and it ripped in the process. It fits correctly and looks nice, but is a bit on the thin side so I don’t believe it will last more than 1 season.

I used this coco liner in all my hanging plant baskets and it is really working well for them as the water drainage is superb. They also serve as filters and promote the health of my plants from any disease or bacteria build up as my top soil is very moist while it is on top of this amazing and functional coco liner.
