I searched all over for one of these for the older blackstone models. Almost none of the ones I looked at specified. Even though pictures showed that most likely only for the newer ones. I gave it a shot for both of my blackstones and they work, but not snugly. They will protect your flat top, they will keep them clean, but they won't fit snugly on the front edges or cover the drip trough. For what I wanted it for, it works, not pretty to look at this way, but I am not knocking this product for that. If I had the newer blackstones then I am positive these would fit nicely and look nice while protecting your cook top. Lose/win

I work diligently to keep my griddle clean and free from oxidation. This cover is a labor saving device that is hard to measure it’s worth. A thin layer of avacado oil and this cover will help keep the cooking surface clean and trouble free. I am not being paid to write this and I don’t make a regular habit of writing reviews. I see a worthwhile product here and I feel compelled to share my opinion.

Okay, who likes chipmunks, mice and other critters running and pooping all over your grill?? If you do, don’t buy this! If you’re like me and get disgusted by find droppings where you plan on cooking your dinner, BUY THIS NOW! Bought this for my 28” Weber griddle. It’s a bit big for the Webber but it still does the job.

I got this to place on the cooking surface of my blackstone griddle to aid in preventing rust. I place this on the top then cover the unit with a cover. Assuming one properly cleans and conditions the griddle after each use, this will likely keep the surface rust free. It has for me. But I’m not a schlub who doesn’t care for his griddle. I’ve read where people have attempted to cook on this silicone pad. Hmm. That makes no sense to me.
