These are 3/8-16 on one end and 1/4-20 on the other. With these and 2 studs one for each end and I have an adaptor to fit whatever I need on my tripods, cameras, and lights. These are strong enough to carry any weight I put on my tripods. I only buy stainless steel studs. I hope that helps in some way.
