Unfortunately my return window has passed before I "got" to this project. If you will look at the base of the bulbs in the photograph I provided, the aluminum part to be exact, you'll see the original Philips bulb is shorter. The height difference DOES make a difference in putting the filter assembly back together.Wasted my money on this one! For my application specifically the a UV air purifier on a sub-zero refrigerator.

the metal flashing is about 3mm higher than on a philips. STAY AWAY

Bought this as a replacement for the bulb used in a Sub Zero Refrigerator light filter. The bulb works but I had to shave some of the holder parts down to get the bulb to fit. the base doesn't fit quite as snug on the slide port (at the bottom) and the two guides were shaved down to fit the taller base. Otherwise it seems to work well. Just be sure to be handy if you want to use this as a replacement bulb for the Philips bulb that SubZero uses.

I had to modify this bulb with my dremel to make it fit. Not a direct replacement.

While the bulb connector and the lightbulb dimensions are a good fit, the height of its metal base is a bit taller than the Phillips OEM preventing its installation into the required shroud for my application (refrigerator air freshener replacement). Had to return bulb and go to with a slightly more expensive Phillips OEM source. This bulb might work just fine on other applications without the specialized shroud used on my refrigerator unit. Phillips OEM bulb does appear to be a little more durable on initial inspection . Can’t vouch for durability differences though.
