This strap is just barely long enough to get around a standard battery box making it difficult to buckle without the strap coming undone from the cinch portion.The strap needs to be a minimum of 2 inches longer but adding 4 inches of length would be preferred.The strap and buckle combination are 42" end to end.The strap itself is a good medium strength nylon that has plenty of strength for battery box use. The buckle is strong plastic with good snap locking security.The cinch tightening portion of the buckle is a little looser than I would prefer, perhaps a little tooth like gripping would help to keep the strap from slipping.

I recently got a bunch of new sleeping bags for my family and realized that they do not have elastic or strings on the sleeping bags anymore, which means that I have to roll them up super tightly to go back into their carrying bag. This is not something my kids or I enjoy doing AT ALL so I was on a mission to find a better solution. These straps work perfectly! They are very easy to tighten and so far do not come loose after they are buckled into place.
