Was the correct length, but the width doesn't let it sit between my water filler caps. I placed some spacer blocks underneath, will see if they vibrate out.

Worked great held the battery down tightly. Can't beat it for the price. Cheaper than the dealer and the auto parts stores.

I recently purchased the Altland Aluminum Car Battery Tie Down Bracket and I'm very impressed with it. TLDR: order the 12” version. Fantastic and cheap upgrade.I was an idiot and didn’t read the description clearly. I thought 8” was the length of the billet tie down. The 5th Gen is Infact requires a 8” tie down.It turns out that the 8” was referring to the length of the J hooks. Read is hard for me apparently.I had to use the oem black j hooks, which are 10”. They will “work” (ish) with the billet tie down but you will be on the edge of the threads. if you like this flush look, then reuse the factory. I had to use some blue locktite just to make sure the nut won’t spin loose.Build quality of the billet tie down is excellent. Highly recommended.

The battery tie down looks great and works well but just don't overnighter it or it will bend and crack.

I know almost nothing regarding trucks. They were easy to install. They look really nice.
