This reduced trimming time by more than half! Batteries last longer than me doing more than my normal annual work. 3 old fruit trees(for nice shade), 2 birch at 3' diameter, my neighbors tree, bordering trees. I had fun.I grew up trimming with dad and I've been waiting for this tool that I found that now exists.The pruner cuts about an inch if green and maybe 1/2" if its a dead branch. If it doesn't make it through, it cocks back for another shot. Between cycles, I wiggle it a little to reset the blade position. The strength is about like my favorite 15" Fiskers anvil loppers.When branches are on the ground, stacking in organized pile for bundling is where the pruners are even better making the whole task simple, fast, and yes.. fun too.The saw is a little light (good and bad) and wants to dance when at end of the extended extension. Just remember to to brace limb against saw body. There's no oiler on these mini saws, but also not cutting log rounds. A little bar oil dripped on manually works fine.As a fan of sharp tools, the steel on the pruners is of very hard steel and holds its edge quite well. The chain saw replacements are about only $3, but I like them sharp so bought some files 9/64" is the good size.Not removing a star, but the downsides: the Deadman switch on the pole handle is in awkward spot, so I glued it down. Also, there's a reverse switch that I kept hitting and doesn't make any sense so I taped that down. Now it's perfecto!This thing is so awesome! I love itI don't review many items but feel this was one of those good purchases worth my time to share
