A wonderful little machine. It's quite when it dispenses, easy to get up and running, and includes many things that I found to have had some actual through put into it.On the bottom side of the lid is a small cage where a silica packet is, and it looks to be replaceable. The meal splitters arms are made up of silicon blades that aren't locked in and probably can be replaced if needed. And the dispenser has a small lip that holds the bowl in place so the cat can't push it out of the way. It's not perfect though, The main food tank part is a twist on thing, but not a locking twist on. There's no bump or catch to hold it, which becomes a slightly bigger annoyance because the lid of the tank DOES twist and lock... so you can imagine trying to twist off the Lip while trying to not twist off the tank...Also as something tends to want or need an app to function, like this one does, I probably like become cautious about trusting an app accessing my wi-fi through the new thing. You do have to make an account, which is annoying.. There should just be the option to use it locally without an account. This devices app uses Tuya tho, which I already had an account for from a long while ago so I'll leave it at that. All in all Pretty happy ᓚᘏᗢ

I found a feeder that works!I love the fact that the food capacity is large enough that depending on how often you opt for feeding, can last a bit. I only have one cat, and she is a larger breed. She is roughly 14 lbs. however, she can get a bit snackish and wants to just graze and eat. So, having her on a regular feeding schedule is important, as I’m not always at home when she should eat. Rather than just filling her bowl and letting her just eat all day, I’d rather have her on a schedule.Setting it up was very easy, and the app makes it so I can schedule her feeds at any hour intervals I need to. It helps to read everything thoroughly to have a better understanding of how to set up the times. At first, the feeder wasn’t dispensing her food and I thought perhaps the kibble might be too small. But the following day, it surprised us both when her food dispensed automatically. So, it functions exactly as it’s supposed to.The photos show where she is curious, and apprehensive at first, but once she saw her food, she went for it, and the noise it makes when her food falls into the dish has become almost like a dinner bell now! Lol..I also appreciate that the amount dispensed is just the right amount too!

My cat got sick of waiting for me to come downstairs in the mornings to feed her, and free-feeding isn't an option for her tummy, so she insisted I get her a feeder. I happily obliged. This one has an app, which was super easy to set up. There was a little experimentation with trying to figure out when the best times were to feed her and how much was enough in a day, but we figured it out. There's an option to manually feed her as well. I do wish it would tell me when I'm running low on food in the hopper, though, but even without that, my cat does let me know when she's not getting enough food, so she won't be starving. The lid is a bit difficult to remove, as well. This is an excellent solution for my household. It would get five stars if not for the lid. Maybe more like 4.5, if that were an option. It's not a deterrent, but annoying a bit.

This is replacing a broken feeder that we can't find anymore. This one works ok. It topples over kind of easy and the locking lid is a pain to get off.
