Works as intended. At first the pump would not build pressure. I took the pump apart and put some silicone grease on it to help facilitate the sealing effect of the orings and keep them from tearing. It had good pressure and bleed the brakes on Honda Accord with ease.I'd recommend the manufacturer to add some appropriate lube or get better seals. For the price I paid it's a no-brainer because I do several brake jobs a year and maintenance my own vehicles.

It pulled the old brake fluid out of the resevoir perfect and it seemed to do good job on 3 but it did seem to suck more air than was in the system. On the 4th one, the hose popped off and I could not seem to get it to do much. Maybe I did something wrong. I did get perfect brake pedal though and it seemed to make the job easier.

This worked great on flushing out the brake fluid on my Hondas. Have a 15 year old twin stack compressor for the air source which was 3cfm@90psi when new, much less now. Can pump brakes while bleeding to help out compressor and speed process up, but watch fluid level. Chose the vacuum method because of the expense of Honda master cylinder adapters for pressure bleeders.

Bought this for one purpose, to bleed the old brake fluid from my 2008 Yamaha FJR1300AE, which have an auto clutch, meaning I only have to change gears and the hydraulic clutch is automatically operated. To manually operate it you have to pull the swingarm as well the rear tire. With this machine I only had to connect to the bleed nipple and turn it on. Worked great, and accomplished a hard task in minutes.Additionally, this bike has ABS and linked brakes, meaning front and vack brakes work like a car. Used this to flush almost 1 quart from the abs and brake lines in minutes as well.I used a 1 gallon pancake compressor and it produced enough air to operate the bleeder for 2 minutes per tank. For the price it saved me hours of labor and frustration. Great value, the included accessories fit perfect and I will use this for all my motorcycles.

Increased to 3 stars. The pump did not work on the first order I made. It was replaced right away, but if I had really needed it to work when it arrived I would have been in trouble. The rest of the design is very good. There is a separate opening for adding brake fluid, and the capture bottle has a nipple that fits nicely over the bleed valve. Again, too bad that the most important aspect of the first product was inoperable.

Fazit: Baut ordentlich Druck auf und drückt damit die alte Flüssigkeit plus Luft raus. Aber Vorsicht bei älteren Autos (zB. Oldtimern), da der Druck zu Beschädigung führen kann. Bei Oldtimern genügt normalerweise die Betätigung des Bremspedals, in jedem Fall sollte man beim Verwenden dieses Gerätes auf eine deutlich niedrigere Bar-Zahl gehen, als angegeben. Ich jedenfalls nutze das Gerät nur noch bei moderneren Fahrzeugen.Lieferumfang: Der lange Trichter ist praktisch falls der Flüssigkeitsbehälter etwas tiefer verbaut sein sollte. Der Auffangbehälter ist immer praktisch, auch wenn man das Druckgerät selbst gerade nicht benutzt, allerdings ist der Gummiverbinder sehr wackelig und neigt daher zum Tropfen, also unbedingt alten Lappen oder Ähnliches zum Auffangen drunterlegen; die Haltekette für den Behälter sorgt dafür, dass er nicht aus Versehen umfällt, bzw. bei Benutzung einer Hebebühne im ihm überhaupt in Position zu bringen. Der Hauptbehälter ist eigentlich zu groß für den privaten Bereich, funktioniert aber wie er soll. Der Öffner für Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter ist nett, aber benötigt man normalerweise nicht, und beim Verschließen immer daran denken „nach fest kommt ab“ (also nicht übertreiben beim Zuschrauben).Hinweise:- Druck an Fahrzeug anpassen- Bremsflüssigkeit ist ätzend, giftig und verdunstet nicht, also sich selbst (Handschuhe, ggf Augenschutz), das Material (Auto, speziell Lack) und die Umwelt schützen (Entsorgung über zB Entsorgungszentrum).- Leere Bremsflüssigkeitskanister eignen sich prima als zweiter Auffangbehälter, was zB bei manchen Oldtimern erforderlich ist (Zweikreis-Systeme). Ölwechsel Sets für zB Rasenmäher liefern Schlauch und Lappen (gibts oft im Discounter), mit der dort mitgelieferten Spritze kann man auch den Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter leerziehen, was die Wechseldauer reduziert, da bereits frische Flüssigkeit im Behälter ist und die alte Flüssigkeit nicht mehr durch die Leitung gedrückt werden muss.Alle Angaben ohne Gewähr!
