3M™ 4-point Pinlock Hard Hat Suspension Replacement, H-700-PS4, is an approved 3M™ replacement part for 3M™ H-700 Series Hard Hats. Using this replacement suspension system can extend the service life of an H-700 series hard hat, potentially resulting in cost savings compared to buying a new hard hat. Replacing the suspension system is recommended if wear occurs that compromises the performance of the original suspension system, or if a fresh, sanitary suspension system is desired for a hard hat to be issued to a new worker. The suspension system comes with a soft brow pad to cushion the forehead for comfort. This 3M accessory is not tested or approved for use with any other manufacturers Hard Hat or non-H-series 3M hard hats.

Like some others mentioned, Still helmet sits higher on head than may prefer but ratchet adjustment in replacement hat suspension a real plus from older adjusting system.

It’s a very good Rachet for my hat, But , make sure you check your hat for full brim or other sizes, IT Matters.They don’t all fit just any hard hat. This one I ordered, does Not fit a Full brim hard hat. Trying to save you from returning for a larger size.

Perfect fit for my tree cutting helmet G2001C that is over 18 years old. Nice upgrade from the old one with hard manual tightening with the new rear tightening much easier to fit my head.

Had to trim the tabs a little. I have a full brim hard hat and I had to trim almost a ⅙' to get it to fit the tabs in the slots. I used a razor knife no biggie. This was my 3rd purchase trying to find one that fit and this one was the closest. Works great now and the clips are nice and snug

I've read other reviews and would agree that these make your hard hat sit a little higher than stock suspension. But overall stayed on my head without any issues.I've read other reviews saying it's put the helmet too high from your head. Ideally the hard hat shouldn't be that close to your head anyways. Kinda defeats the purpose of a hard hat if its really close to your head. I believe this will help protect you if something were to fall on your head.

Bought this to replace the suspension in my husband's hardhat. He hates it... it sits so high on his head it just feels weird and looks really stupid. I wanted to send it back and get a different one, but he needed his hard hat, so had to keep it until I order one that sits 'normal' on his head. The quality seems fine; it fit his hardhat fine, just doesn't sit on your head as it should. And yes, we adjusted it, it didn't really change anything.

Comfortable, easy to use and install on the hard hat. The ratchet system has adjustments so it can sit higher or lower on the back or your head/neck, which for comfort as well as windy conditions can really help. The plastic used in the ratchet isn't very durable and within a couple months use had cracked. I liked the item enough and for the price I ordered a second one and continue to use this item. Note I have added a terry cloth headband fro addition comfort and keeping sweat from running.

I have a hard hat that I've used for a long time that I'm a little attached to. I've replaced the suspension liner about five times on it with the ratchet type adjustment. The problem is, my hard hat is made by MSA and I was having trouble finding a replacement. This one by 3M fits perfectly and it more comfortable.The head band on it is actually more comfortable than the MSA one. The older ones seem to turn to plastic after a while and cut into your forehead. This one seems to be of better quality. Oh... and the price is right as well :)
