This sharpener kit is a very handy item. Most of my chainsaw use is far from an electrical outlet. If the chain needs sharpening on the spot, this tool is just what I need. It works very well. It also can be used with other rotary tool accessories in places where electricity in unavailable, which really increases its usefulness. I had been wanting something like this, and am very glad it became available.

I just got this because it’s portable and easy take with you. It comes with 2 batteries so far it works well. I am not sure how long the batteries last but it is easy to use

Chainsaws get dulled quickly, and using one with worn blades is frustrating. This 3mirrors wireless kit works after you catch on to the technique. After selecting the proper angle, turn on the tool and move back and forth on the edges. It can also be used on other sharpening items, such as scissors and shovels. I liked the grip since it's about a perfect fit for my hand.

Weird product where the product picture, and description is inside the box ,while the outside is plain brown box. I just realized that the angle adjustment is an attachment, and not built into the tool itself. I suppose it would be much cheaper just to buy the angle attachment with diamond mandrels, if you already own a rotary tool. It is well packaged with 2 batterries! This Makita colored tool comes with everything I need to sharpen handsaws, and much more.
