The locks are great. Not lightweight so I expect them to last for a long time. I love the fact that each lock has two keys and all three locks are keyed the same. The rubber around the base makes it so much easier to hold onto them when trying to get them unlocked.

Cost effective but NOT recommended for outside elements. We purchased this set of locks to use as a lockdown for our snowmobile trailer because of the length. Unfortunately two of the three have not survived the outside elements of Wisconsin and have had major issues trying to get the lock to works. The inside components have failed in the winter and even after the spring thaw have never operated as they did when we first bought them. Unfortunately we’ve stopped using them in fear of being locked out with the key in hand.

I bought these for our kids’ high school marching band. We rent three Penske trucks for hauling equipment to competitions and it’s great to hand out the 6 keys to parents that all work on the 3 locks. And the extra long lock is required for the trucks. The shorter locks won’t work!

I needed 10 padlocks for outdoor anti-vandalism purposes - and wanted them all keyed alike. I had NO idea how hard that was to find at any local hardware stores. Most places suggested I buy 10 locks then have a locksmith re-key them to a single key. I am VERY sure that would more than double the cost.My application is not for any high security purpose - just to keep "wandering hands" from doing things they shouldn't. This set of 12 locks all keyed the same is PERFECT for my application... so long as they don't rust-up. I did treat each lock with a squirt of Houdini Lock Lube (inside and out) before putting them on. If you haven't ever used Houdini - you don't know what you are missing!!

We ordered these locks to lock rolling rubbermaid/husky containers as part of a long distance move.One issue I was finding was needing something that had a long enough latch for the 2 inch Husky container. This lock was certainly a close fit, but it did clear 2 inches by just enough to work.I ordered 3 sets of locks to ensure I had enough for my whole move. This was a little more expensive than some other options on this site, but it was the only lock that I found that seemed to be over 2 inches for the internal clasp portion.Very satisfied.
