I had a cabinet from Ikea with a glass front, sides, and back. This worked perfectly to get through the painted metal on the top and leave enough room to snake wires through. Fit perfect and the drill just like it was advertised, and held up fine with an 18 volt. Highly recommend, very easy to use on many materials, and good bang for your buck.

The item seems to be made of decent quality material for the price. The canvas like case was really nice to have and the drill bits looked new and clean. I sed a digital micrometer to measure the steps of all bits and they were all well within the tolerance for what I would consider accurate. The step sizes were also very well etched. Overall I was very happy with theHowever, they all were all VERY dull. They struggled to drill through a soft flexible plastic panel on my Can-Am that was less than 1/8" thick - even with a pilot hole to assure the bit would have the best grip and not wander when starting. The amount of pressure needed to force the bit through was 3-4 times more than what would be expected for drilling through this type of panel with a sharp bit. It was not just the initial step in the bit, but the entire bit, every step in my 16mm hole.Maybe I got a defective one but this was my experience with this product sold by fuzhoushangtuo via Amazon Prime.

I like the 1/4" hex shank but dislike that the bits are dull and will not cut PVC electric boxes. They do not cut then heat and melt the plastic to get a hole through. And never did get a hole cut in 26 gauge thin sheet metal. Maybe I got a bad batch but extremely disappointing performance

I bought this set just to drill 3mm holes in a 1/16 sheet of ABS plastic. The bit was too dull to cut cleanly, and had so much runout that it wobbled at least 1mm from side to side. The bit's diameters were also a bit larger than marked. I was in a hurry, so I tried bending it back. I only succeeded in breaking it, so I can't get a refund.

They cut and I must say it is very practical to drill out thin material in steps, a big drill bit would catch and jam but these drill in stages so they tend to pilot and center themselves.But they have dings in the edges so would actually need to be sharpened even though they are new. A bit disappointing since a little care in the manufacturing would prevent that.
