update: I got an air powered die grinder and as suspected the additional speed made these work much better.I don't have a 1/4" die grinder or experience using carbide burrs, but I have used grinding stones with a dremel and drill for similar things and for the price you can't go wrong, seems like a great value. These seme precision cut and I used it with both a normal drill and a 90 degree angle drill and was able to do some grinding would have worked better with the additional speed from a die grinder, but it worked fine and despite grinding steel and a paver stone there did not appear to be any damage.I suspect a more expensive bit might grind faster based on video I have seen, but that is conjecture.

Perfect set for a small DIY job. I got this carbide burr kit to use during the installation of an edge kit on a pocket door. Used these burrs with a dremel tool & they worked great. I also used them to install a flush bolt on a set of interior double bedroom doors. So simple & the burrs had no problem tackling the jobs. If you're just looking for a small set, look no further. These are well constructed, handy burrs that'll make an easier job of cutting, drilling, grinding & sanding/cleaning. They'll make your project look so much more professional. I'm planning on using them in a few places that need clean cutouts in a ceramic tile installation/repair too.

I'm impressed with the quality for the money. Cuts through metal as well as my more expensive arbors, I've been using using the same one for weeks without dulling it, seems durable.

These are some of the best burrs I’ve used - and you can’t beat this price. I’ve used the round one about five times, on various metals (including brass and aluminum) and haven’t had any clogging yet. I always keep my tools as clean as possible, and that’s easy to do with these bits.I think they’re designed for use in a dremel or power drill, because of the 1/4” shank, just make sure to clamp your workpiece. Don’t let their size deceive you: these are powerful, and will definitely fling some metal if you let them.So far they seem to be holding up remarkably well. I’ve inspected them with a magnifying glass after many uses and I can’t find any damage yet.Overall, I’d highly recommend them to anyone working with metal.

This is not a top quality set of burrs from a big name manufacturer. I own some of those as well, but not at anything even close to this price. For what these things cost, they are definitely well worth the money. I've used these on mild steel without any issues. No dulling or chipping, which I was honestly expecting. I'm pretty impressed with how these things are holding up so far. I haven't really given it the beans yet, but so far so good. I will say too that these are by far the smallest burrs I now own, and that's kind of an accident. I didn't realize just how small these actually are, so be aware of that. I also noticed that some of the brazing on the carbide was pretty sloppy, but it hasn't affected anything as of yet. And while I know that these aren't designed for aluminum, I did use these on some 3" aluminum tubing and didn't get any clogging of the flutes. I don't think I'd get the same results on thicker aluminum plate, but I don't plan to try that either.

I have all kinds of tools, but I didn't have a set of burrs so I figured I'd get this three-pack because with the variety of heads I will have all my needs covered. My project is an old aluminum boat. We picked it up for free from a neighbor because it was in bad shape. I used this to grind off the heads of a couple of the problematic aluminum rivets, worked great. I then used it to cut out a hatch opening in one of the seats for additional storage, easy peasy. These are sharp and cut quickly so you may need to play on a scrap piece first to make sure you're ready when it comes to your final project. To help prevent any issues, I clamped down a straight 2x2 on the aluminum work piece. Yes, I did actually find a straight wooden 2x2! Took a bit, but I found it. Then I used that as a guide, now this has no issue eating into wood but the hatch cover I am using gives me about 3/8ths of an inch of variability so the 2x2 guide worked perfectly. I used the wood on the two long sides and on the two short sides I did free-hand it. I'm a novice at this, so the wood guide was absolutely easier.I have an electric die grinder that takes the 1/4 shank. Spins much faster than my drill so that's what I used. For the money I don't think I could go wrong! I also had to create a new plastic battery cover for my golf cart, I had a sheet of 1/8th inch plastic so I used this to trim it where I needed, worked great on plastic too.
