  • 4 Pcs long carbide burr set 1/4" shank, total length 6.1", head dia 8mm and 10mm, 1 slotted plastic box with hanger and 1 manual.
  • Bent Risk! The tungsten carbide burr bits must remain in contact with the workpiece as long as the tool is running or turning on or turning off moment. Failure to observe this procedure may result in burr shank bending and an increased injuries risk. If the continuous contact between the bits and the workpiece is not guaranteed, the max idling speeds should not be exceeded.
  • Perfect for tight and hard-to-reach areas than grinding discs grind wheel. Double cut produces a finer finish than single cut and reduces the size of the chips.
  • Long shank carbide burrs bits perfect for deburring smoothing grinding porting cast iron steel aluminum cylinder head engine intake exhaust manifold.
  • Very sharp, aggressive, tough, well-balanced and durable. 5 years returnless replacement.

Sworker 4 Pcs Long Shank Carbide Burrs Shank Dia.=1/4", Head Dia.=8mm to 10mm, Total L. 147mm to 155mm, 1 Clamshell Plastic Box with Hook and 1 Manual.

1. In general, burrs are used counter-rotationally or with a swinging motion. Pass the tool rapidly and lightly over the workpiece in the direction of rotation to achieve fine finishes and chamfers.

2. Don't apply too much pressure on the rotary tool, multiple light passes are better than a single deep one. Let the speed do the work. Do not exceed the max idling and application speed.

3. Clamping more shank depth of the burrs bits, inserting the shank of bits to the bottom of clamping is optimal. If you have to clamp the less shank, please low the rotary tool rotation speed.

4. Use only 6mm-rigid clamp system(collect and nut). Not be used for 1/4"(6.35mm) collect and nut of rotary tools. 3-jaws-chuck drills are not optimal, the high-speed rotary tools are optimal.

5. Don't sink the carbide burr for more than 1/3 of its periphery. Recommendation for tools drives: 6mm shank from 300W, for coarse cuts, 500W+ and short shank burrs are optimal.

6. Avoid impact loads, otherwise the parts teeth will break off, shank will bend. For soft materials, such as aluminum, use a lubricant to reduce debris clogging. Use water as lubricant for glass.

7. Avoid lifting the burr away from the workpiece when starting, operating and stopping the tool, if your rotary tool works at a high speed. Using a foot switch is an excellent solution.

8. Always wear ear, eye, face protection and safety gloves. Grip the rotary tool firmly with both hands and use a swinging motion to minimizes the risk of kickback or wobble or sudden movement.

Notes: Bent Risk

The tungsten carbide burr bits must remain in contact with the workpiece as long as the tool is running or turning on or turning off moment. Failure to observe this procedure may result in burr shank bent and an increased injuries risk. If the continuous contact between the bits and the workpiece is not guaranteed, the max idling speeds should not be exceeded. Max idling speed without contact to workpiece: Head Dia.8mm≤6000RPM, Head Dia.10mm≤4000RPM, Max application speed with contact to workpiece: Head Dia.8mm≤11000RPM, Head Dia.10mm≤9000RPM.

These burr balls worked great for grinding down the end on my K30 driveshaft that I needed to clearance when installing my lift kit. Good quality item, they were sharp enough for the job and the perfect size.

Long reach carbide burrs, they can be used for many things, but I use them for elongating previously drilled holes. I wish I had these years ago, as the extended length would be amazing for "porting" the intake holes in cylinder heads. Please be careful, especially with this length...they can very quickly and easily get out of control. Take thin cuts and use a lubricant when working with soft metals. Depending on the bit you're using, they can be rotated at 11000rpms, so be careful about which tool you use to spin them. Using a drill is going to be advised only when working with soft metals and a small amount of work. Typically you would want to use a die grinder for these with a 1/4" collet. Overall, I haven't used them a lot, but from what I can tell so far, they are of way better quality than they are currently priced.

These burrs are properly sized, balanced, and weighty. I anticipate no issues in use. I'll update this review if I have issues in the future.

These burr bits are well made and performed flawlessly for the task at hand. After completing a single project, there’s minimal visible wear, so they seem durable enough for occasional use. Long-term durability is still to be seen, but for the price, they feel like a solid investment.

I have another set of SWorker carbide burs that have been excellent for me, and these are also a winner! These cut very fast and durability has been great so far when working with steel. They basically show no signs of wear even after considerable use. I'm impressed, the value is incredible, as I've seen other similar sets for nearly 4x the cost. The extended length is nice as well for getting in tight spaces. I can't tell you how many times I've had to shift a standard length towards the end of a die grinder collet to reach what I needed to. That is a big "no no" as the tool can slip out of the tool at a ridiculously high speed. Fortunately, these solve that issue.

These burrs cut a lot better than I expected. First, the shaft is a true 1/4" and hold tight in the collet. I tested the burr on a piece of billet aluminum bar stock. Billet is a lot more dense and harder to machine than is cast. I ran the grinder at a lower speed and as soon as I touched the bar, chips started flying. That is what you want in a burr. It was very easy to control and ran smooth. No jumping or running away. I dug it in to make it grunt and it left a nice divot in the bar. These burrs perform as good as the pro stuff and you really can't beat the price of 18 bucks for four long burrs.
