Contrary to a review that these are Z scale, they seem spot on for N scale. Two fit perfectly on a 50’ flatcar, nearly matching that car’s width. Note the body metal, boom plastic. Tracks non operable. Bucket is fixed. Body does rotate on track assembly. Although they seem pricey, I really like them, and wish the company had more offerings. These excavators seem to be modeled on the Cat 323.

Nice model, but way smaller than n-scale size. More like z-scale. See the picture of excavator on top of n-scale locomotive.

These are great additions on my n scale layout. I have purchased seven on them already. They are highly detailed with a moveable arm. A little rusty paint and will blend right in with any scenery.
