I wanted to replace the mechanical thermometer on my beer brew pot with something more accurate that also had audible temperature alarms. Another thing I liked was the 4 inputs, even though I only need one temperature measurement. This way I can set 4 different temperature alarms and just plug my thermocouple into the different inputs as needed.I decided to calibrate the K type thermocouple with boiling water inside my brew pot. With no adjustment trim it measured 211.8'F, that is as they say close enough.

All sensors were reading ~2C low and 1 sensor in particular was ~2C lower than the rest of the group.
