They don't get more solid than this rail. It is solid metal but perfectly sized to hold onto for support. I am able to get a good grip on it and feel very supported by it. It is easy to install and has a nicer finish. I would buy this again.

I already got the 12 inch one for my garage....I have steep steps. But I also wanted one for the other side of the wall, and I needed a longer one. It's a classic black color. Comes with everything needed. I feel safer with something to hold on to.

This handrail is rock solid and super sturdy. My husband mounted it to the wood framing studs in his workshop next to a steep ramp leading to an upper storage area and it has been a very useful addition, providing much needed support and stability for us when we walk up and down the ramp. It has an industrial look with a classic design and black finish and is easy to use and grip without your hand slipping. It installed quickly and easily as well and for the price, I consider it a great value!

It’s not the real iron pipe like you find in the hardware store. It’s the thinner decor style it works fine as a handrail tho

I just got this in the mail, so it isn't installed yet. But I have to express how much I love the packaging. No styrofoam! It was all cardboard, so no mess trying to get it out of the package. It feels very sturdy to the hand. And I love the pipe look - very industrial looking. I really hope it holds up with continued use. But so far, I love the look and I can't wait to use it.

The hand rail is very sturdy. Only connects at the ends but it does not flex. The pipe isn’t heavy so one person can install it. The pipe is large enough for a comfortable grip. The design blends in with an existing hand rail. I like the industrial look of the pipe and the powder coating on. It seems like it will hold up really well.

It's smaller than stated and it's super thin. I feel like I could bend it over my knee. For the cost difference you might as well buy real pipe at the hardware store.
