Stainless steel is holding up. Good quality stainless compared to cheap Chinese steel. I leave it outdoors full time and seems to be holding up.

I found the system to work well, with the exception of the flat washers that are included. The supplied flat washer was not large enough in diameter to work with my Yakima LockNLoad platform.

Bought these because we purchased a camper that has sliding racks along the top, and I didn't want to spend a million dollars on the custom parts that go in there. They were a little too thick and wide and it had to spend about 15 minutes with my angle grinder adjusting the fit, but since then they worked great, and you can't beat the price.
