Definitely needs the support of a finger behind it to prevent bending, and bristles are short, but gets the job done if your pet is well mannered enough to let you reach around in their mouth

I’ve had a couple of other finger dog toothbrushes but these seem to work much better. My dog really doesn’t like me using it on her teeth but it’s pretty easy to get in a few back and forth brushes here and there. I think over time she will get used to it.
