Do not buy these. They are not accurate and will cause you to possibly overwater and kill your plants. The picture I have added show the reading for a fully-saturated plant with water in the collection pan after sitting for an hour. It should be reading fully wet, but as you can see that's not the case. I try moving the probes around the pots to get a better reading but that doesn't work either. Buyer beware.

All four in the package worked w/o a problem. Quick reading and easy to move from plant to plant as needed. I like having the extras to be able to leave one in multiple locations/rooms to test plants as needed. Good item.

Have used this style water meter for several years and love it...but one of the four failed to register moisture at all. the other three only register up to Moist and never Wet, even if tip is in water. Totally disappointing.

barely moves from dry to almost moist when placed in very moist soil. It only registers "moist" when actually in water! I have another one from a different manufacturer that does work correctly.
