These solar lights are perfect for my front steps! They provide bright, 6000K white light, which really illuminates the whole front door area. Installation was a breeze—I just mounted them on the post, and they were ready to go.I chose the black color, and it looks great against my home, adding a nice contrast. What I love most is that they’re solar-powered and rechargeable, so I never have to worry about changing batteries or plugging them in. Plus, the material is solid and durable, making them a reliable choice for long-term use.

These are very nice lights. Much brighter than I expected, which was a nice surprise! I’m planning to put these in my backyard and they should bring both light and elegance to my yard.

I used these lights on railing posts on my back porch. The light provides more ambiance than illumination and that is the effect I wanted. They are attractive and easy to install. Our posts are 5.5 inches square, and I was able to easily screw the base onto the post. We were not looking for Friday Night Lights and these rechargeable LED's met our needs.Solar cells on top recharge the battery and provide light when dark and stay lit through most of the night.

I recently put in a new driveway and the entrance gate posts are 4x6. I had been frustrated trying to find lights to fit because the vast majority are made for 4x4 posts. I'll admit to not reading directions at first and was mad thinking they did not fit. After reading I found that you have to disassemble and discard one piece of the housing for it to fit on larger posts. I did and it does! The lights, like all solar lights, are not super bright but I just need them as a marker at night and for that they are fine. I can't say for sure how long they last at night but I know they are still on around midnight after a full day's charge.

I've been trying out several brands, styles, and colors (white & black) of solar post cap lights for the last few weeks and I think these are my favorites. They come with adapters to fit on 5x5, 5.5x5.5, or 6x6 wooden posts. These are nominal sizes so the actual largest post it will fit is 5.5"x5.5" (what is usually called a 6x6). This is the size post that I have and they fit well. Right now they are just sitting on the posts though I plan to screw them down with the included hardware when I'm done testing.I like these solar lights for several reasons:- They are sleek and low-profile. I didn't want big boxy lights on top of my posts (especially in the daytime when they are not illuminated) and these fit the bill.- The lights are arranged in a thin band around the cap so it's a bit more concentrated than some other larger caps - this creates the illusion that the light source is actually brighter.- The black plastic looks nice and the design is attractive. No light bleeds through the opaque cap when lit at night (except where it's supposed to).- Power lasts at least 7 hours (the latest I've checked) and they were still at full brightness.- The warmer setting is not as yellow as the pictures indicate - it's more a clean soft white light, not the yellow depicted. The cooler setting is a bit too blueish for me but will fit other decors.- One of the caps is partially covered by branches and still manages to collect enough sunlight to stay lit all night long.I don't really have anything negative to say about them except that as far as fit and finish go, I've seen some plastic solar cap lights that are a little nicer, but it's a negligible difference and only discernable up close if you're casting a critical eye. These caps like all the other solar post cap lights I've tried are not going to light up your driveway or walkway or yard - they are much more accent or marker lights than anything. But in that they excel and look really nice at night. They're also not so bright that they would contribute to light pollution in a dense neighborhood (like mine). All in all a solid, good looking product that has ended my search for post cap lights. A solid buy at a very fair price.
