These lights are a huge improvement over original halogens used for the trunk area light of a 2003 Honda Civic. Don’t wait for the factory originals to burn out. They never will 😅. A Yorkim plastic trim removal tool included from an earlier purchase of license plate bulbs, was a huge help with the plastic housing for accessing the socket. See your 2003 Honda Civic Owner’s Manual for proper removal instructions. Take your time, old plastic lenses and sockets are delicate and brittle. I don’t know the longevity of these new leds. Installed a week ago in late February 2025.Lesson learned - These LED bulb bases are engineered differently and they don’t slide in and out smoothly like their glass originals. Be careful inserting, look closely at your original socket contacts because they can bend. Be super careful. While they do work and shine with beautiful color, they stand much taller dimensionally than the old halogens. They bumped the lens face in the tail lights of a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. For this location, I cannot recommend them. When installing, the bulb bases teeter over in the sockets still letting you lock the retaining ring. They will continue to light but it was not structurally secure enough for safe, long term use. There is a real danger of them falling off into your housings leaving you with a much bigger job of getting them out.Another related tip:To be legal in Virginia:1. Only use white color in reverse light housings.2. Never cover up any lettering of license plates with plate frames that are too thick. Measure and compare visible area before ordering.

My factory reverse lights were basically non existent. Spent 6 bucks and now have a backup pair! Huge difference! Pretty strange every other light on the truck is led? Easy fix. I would recommend these led lights!

The description said they will fit a 2021 F150 but as we all know Ford did not make every truck the same and the OEM parts are not the same. I had to go to the dealer ship just to get the bulbs for my truck because Ford put a new bulb in it, and you cannot buy them in the stores 3 years later. I tried these because they said it would fit but the base is half the size of the plug and will not work. I cannot tell you how the bulb works, all i can say is check your bulb and see if they make one to replace yours.
