I have paid more for similar simple racks in shops- this is better. You'd think a simple soft vinyl coated gun rack wouldn't merit much praise- but this one is sturdy, well made, gentle on finishes, and folds flat. That last simple and yet genius innovation is enough to make this great.The last thing I want when going out to shoot is MORE bulky gear. However, if you're shooting a variety of pistols and want them lined up and not just laying on the bench, table, etc, this can lay flat in the bottom of your bag and then serve to hold a few pistols if you're switching out/back and forth, or to let them cool off before holstering or putting them back in their cases. Handy for that... or just use it as a normal pistol rack since it's priced right- but with this model, you get the option to fold it up and take it with you if you want. It's a simple thing, well executed, and that deserves high praise. Priced fair. Definitely recommend.

It is easy to setup and the frame is a rubberized grip. Perfect for holding pistols. Good buy and product is as described

With this not being a "down the barrel" stand, I was a little concerned it might not work for some of my pistols, but I have had no issues with a wide selection of the most common models. The build quality is great and the rubberized surface works great. The folding option is probably more of a shipping thing because, for most people, this stand is going on a shelf in their safe and never folded again, because why? We never need LESS space!

All the metal is coated with a nice-looking, shiny, and protective rubber material. Placing pistols that I'm working on in this rack frees up table space and keeps the guns safe. This rack had a problem that I had to fix, although it was not a deal breaker. I had to bend and twist until I managed to make it sit on all four legs, it wobbled somewhat at first. A very minor fix easily corrected. Very handy.
