How to use the steel wool:
Wear gloves, use scissors to cut the wire wool to the desired length, insert or push the wire wool into small cracks, holes, crevices or small structural defects, make sure that the wire wool is tightly compacted so that it is not easy to be pulled out.

This steel wool kit is a must-have for DIY house work/repairs. I used it to fill gaps around the garage and garden, and it worked like a charm to keep mice out in a humane way. The included scissors are surprisingly sharp and cut through the wool easily, and the gloves save your hands from getting scratched up — nice bonus! The rolls are generous in size and easy to work with. If you’re tackling cracks, gaps, or sealing projects, I definitely recommend it.

Good quantity and quality. Will last a long time. Soft but does it work really well without scratching your hands. Definitely a helper in the household.
