I am building a tiny house on wheels, and have a residential refrigerator inside. These look like they will work great to helping keep our fridge items in place and secure anytime we move/tow the home! They can be used as individual rods or have clips that allow them to be used in pairs of two. It’s nice that they come with those adhesive grip circles, but that would only work if you always plan to use them in the same place every time since those would have to get stuck to the insides of your fridge. They seem fairly sturdy on their own, but I haven’t gotten a chance to tow/move the home yet and see how well they hold. I will come back and update this review if I have any issues, but so far they seem great!

These fridge tension rods are just what you need to keep camper fridge items in their place. Every so often I'd take a camping trip, arrive to my destination only to find several of my fridge items rolling around the camper floor. The fridge in my camper is 8+ cubic foot. These tension rods fit across the front, easily. They are adjustable in the same way a shoer curtain rod is adjustable. You twist the rod clockwise or counterclockwise, to make it longer or shorter. Then, there's a spring tensioner inside the rod, to make them fit snug. The pack I have came with 4 SETS of rods. Each set is 2 rods, snapped into a support divider. The divider holds both sets of rods, to be used as a set, for really good support power and stability in holding things on the fridge shelf. The end of the rods are rubber tipped, so there's no marring of fridge walls or any surface where you apply the rod tension. The rods come well packaged with clear instructions and illustrations. There is also a sheet of textured rubber disks, with adhesive backing. These disks can be applied to your fridge walls for super grip performance. The rods can be popped out of the support divider and used independently, making 8 separate rods for you to use, in all kinds of ways. I used one of the rods across a small shelf in my camper, to keep small items on the shelf during travel. The measurement shown on the specs page is accurate as far as rod length and extended length.I think this set is a good value in that it has 8 rods in total.

These 4 tension rod sets can actually be separated into 8 individual rods, which I thought was a great bonus and gives you extra flexibility. I originally got them for my RV fridge, but now that I see how easy they are to adjust and use separately, I’m also thinking of using a couple in my bathroom cabinets to keep things from falling over after driving. The set comes with a sheet of non-slip pads and a simple instruction guide. You just peel and stick the pads where you need them, align the rods horizontally, and twist to secure them in place. It even includes a link to a quick installation video, which is helpful. They feel sturdy, install in seconds, and stay put. For the price, this is a great value. Super practical whether you're in an RV or using them at home. I definitely recommend them!

Materials are very thin and light, which is good for things going in a motor home. Spring can be tightened to be quite stiff. Rubber tips are just OK, they try to stick to the refrigerator walls, but if there's any condensation present, they will tend to slip.Included rubber stickers are very soft and would solve the above problem, but they're oversized for the rubber tips. They're intended to be stuck on the fridge walls, but that's bad as you really want to push everything to the back so it doesn't bounce around while traveling, and you can't do that if the bars can only go where you've stuck the stickers. I'd suggest trimming them down and sticking them to the rubber tips.-1 star for the slippery rubber tips.

Amazon invited me to review this as part of the Vine program. The package includes eight metal expansion bars, eight plastic clips to hold two bars together, and 18 textured disks backed with adhesive (about the size of a quarter). The bars adjust smoothly by turning the inner bar (counter clockwise out) to brace from side to side. The disks can be used if the sides of the refrigerator or cabinet are too slick to hold the bar in a fixed location. We got these to use in our RV refrigerator as well as an open shelf in the RV, allowing access but preventing things from falling out. This is a significant improvement over the bungee cords we had been using. The white color is perfect for the refrigerator. While the bars can be used in pairs, they can also be used separately or in multiples by attaching the included plastic spacer brackets from bar to bar. The 3/4"/2cm diameter plastic endcaps may be enough to secure the bars. If not, we've got the included 1.25"/3cm diameter disks with a textured surface and adhesive backing to apply to the walls in the needed locations.

Anyone who has an RV will tell you that somehow, you need to figure out how to keep the food inside the refrigerator in place, blocked in and totally unable to move. As the camper gets pulled down the road, swerves to miss a deer, stops very abruptly for traffic, goes too fast around a corner - so goes everything in the refrigerator. It always is a surprise to get to the campground, open up the refrigerator and see what happened this time. It's almost always a mess, and we had a glass jar fall onto the glass shelf over the crisper and it completely shattered. All the food in the crisper bins had to be thrown out because of all of the glass shards. These tension bars are EXACTLY how you fix that problem once and for all. All you do is push all the food on the shelf backward until it's tight up against the back wall of the refrigerator, put the bar in place making certain that it's set tight enough to hold, even with pressure and force from the food moving. No more refrigerator disasters. Honestly, given the very reasonable price point I think every RV should just come with a set of these bars inside the refrigerator ready to use.
