Needed a way to get back onto Boston Whaler dingy when swimming/snorkeling. The 3 step version was more difficult to get onto bottom rung...the 4 step.was so much easier and stable. Big husband at 6"2" 225 lbs handle it well. We did use a rope to hold onto for the final step.Installed bracket onto boat in stern, high enough that support poles would fit against boat when in use. Because we can't run the boat because ladder would be below water line, we removed screws and replaced with pins...cotter pins...so ladder could be removed and stored when not in use. Recommend modification!

It is tiny. The steps are so narrow that the average adult could not use it. If it is only going to be use by 10 yr old's and less it would be ok. Very light and feels flimsy. Took it out of the box, opened it up, put it back in the box. Back it goes.

I didn’t like that they sent 11/2” wood screws with the ladder, it would have probably been ripped out of the aluminum, so I had to purchase 21/2 bolts, lock washers and acorn nuts.

This is best ladder for the money. Easy to install. Had to make extensions for the support arms due to the angle of the transom that I mounted it on. This is the third ladder I’ve installed and it’s much better than the any of the others.

This ladder was purchased to replace the one that I lost over the side of the boat. It is by far better made and a great value for the boat. I love it because I can keep this one attached instead of having to take it off each time I needed to move the boat. I just fold it up and away we go.
