Wife wanted this so she could cut her own size for her cone threads. Better value than pre cut for her. Very happy with the netting.

This product is best used for larger spools such as surgery thread. I find that it is a bit loose for embroidery thread and smaller spools. The price was more than fair for the amount.

Most of my spools are 1100m and up. This netting is so loose it is completely useless...will not even cling to the totally full spools. Total, complete, absolute waste.Edited to add: the netting becomes even more loose and non-elastic over time. If initially you can get it to actually stay in place on a huge spool of thread, it won't remain.A horribly misrepresented, useless junk-trash product.

Most of my embroidery thread have spools with some means to contain the tail. I just purchased some very expensive threads that did not. This product works great. I like being able to cut my own lengths since I have many sizes of spools.

The uses for this netting is limited only by your imagination... There's so much of it that I gave some to every crafter I know and still have a ton. I use different colors and types of raw wool for felting and these nets are very handy as sleeves for small lots pieces. Also handy for partially finished projects. Just Mcguyver it!
