You know.. I strive pretty hard to be zero waste. But, some chores are just a pain. I have no garbage disposal, and cooking at home constantly means lots of food bits in the drain catch. These are stupid cheap, and they are super disposable which isn't the greatest, but they just Work. My sink has not been nearly so grimy and gross, the water falls through no problem still, and bits of rice, globs of goop, and all the other bits that fall while cleaning just get swept up and thrown away. As I don't need to change it out Every single day, I suspect a single package will last 2-3 years. For the price, thats pretty great.

It does catch a lot more than just the original drain strainer, makes cleanup easier. Mesh breaks/tears pretty easier so be very gentle.

I really like these so far but have only used a few of this brand since running out of a previous order. They catch so much and it's so much easier to dispose of the yuck that it collects. They fit well and are easy to install over the strainer I already had. Makes cleaning up, so much easier.

I think these are great, no more banging the mesh onto a paper towel to discard.Lift and bring to the trash, I usually put a paper towel around it.I read some reviews that they were really thin, they are but they are easy to use, they work great, they fit and size is on point.
