When inserted into the wall the top did not anchor securely enough in the drywall to allow you to turn the screw to collapse the shaft of the fastener to grip the wall. It just rotated the whole fastener enlarging the hole. I resorted to holding the head of the fasteners with a pair of pliers. Repeat times 8!Not a defective fastener, but a poorly designed one. I used these so-called "Molly bolts" daily for 40 years to mount telephones on drywall. Sure I had failures, but not 8 in a row. I believe the issue is with the type of steel, or that the steel did not have deep enough relief cut to allow the fastener to collapse correctly. The tangs used to secure the top of the fastener could have been longer as well.Avoid!***************************************I neither received nor solicited recompense in any form for this review. Do your own research and comparisons prior to purchasing, don't rely solely on my observations. I recommend purchasing only from Prime sellers as my experience with "marketplace" sellers has been mostly negative, often drop shipping from China to the USA so it has a USA postmark. That said, do your own research prior to purchasing any products from the Internet!?

Lest you think my problem is operator error, I have used this type of hollow wall anchor for years. These anchors will not expand unless you pry the arms out slightly (which means a larger hole) and even then you have to hold the grip with pliers. So far, I am 0 for 10 on getting them to work. The rest of the box are in the trash... and I have to repair the holes in the wall. Don't do it. Find another supplier.

Some of the bolts broke off. If you're very gentle when installing them, they work okay

Completely defective product. I tried every anchor in the package and not one worked correctly. I used the correct size for my walls and double-checked all instructions (and even looked for YouTube videos to see if there was some trick to it). Completely avoid this product.
