This thing is great. It's an awesome addition to the shop wall.

As someone who constantly works on various projects in the garage, I can confidently say that this nut and bolt thread sizing board is a game changer! I can't tell you how many times I've been in the middle of a project only to discover that I've lost a nut or bolt, or I'm missing a piece from a small engine I'm trying to assemble. Each time, I've had to head to the hardware store and guess at the right size and pitch. This board has already saved me hours of frustration, and I've only had it for a little over 4 weeks. It is incredibly well-made, thoughtfully designed, and I strongly recommend it for every garage.

I’m a terrible guesser at thread sizes, and this is the perfect little cheat sheet. It’s made well, has clear markings and can be mounted anywhere. They did a great job on this one. 5/5

Does exactly what it is intended to do. Sturdy construction. Looks like it should be very durable.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:• A hefty nut/bolt thread checking tool• A pair of gloves probably size “S”WHAT I LIKE MOST:• This thing has some weight to it. It is a joy to hold. I've never tried to lift the one at my hardware store, but this one is all metal. Theirs is mostly plastic (and beaten up by abusive customers).• Good range of thread sizes starting at M4 and 6-32 and maxing out at M16 and 3/4-10. Includes both fine and coarse.• Can be wall mounted. It has feet, too, for sitting on your workbench.WHAT I LIKE LESS:• No M3. Maybe I can make a M3 extension in the blank space at the bottom.• Drill/rod gauges are only 4-14mm in 2mm increments, plus 1/4" and 1/2".• 3/4-16 and 5/8-18 positioning doesn’t follow the logical ordering of the rest (they are labelled properly)• Length measurement has no cutout at zero for bolt heads.• Gloves are too small for me, and my hands aren’t even all that big.For those of you wanting to distinguish M5 from 10-32, I can confirm that a M5 screw fits slightly more tightly in the 10-32 hole than the M5.

This is one of those luxury tools that you might not think of buying for yourself but once you have it and use it, it becomes very apparent at how much time it saves you. This plate is heavy and weighs in at over two pounds so when you set it on a bench or toolbox you wont have to worry about it sliding around. So far all of my thread tests are matching what I excepted. Currently I keep it on the pegboard of my workbench in the middle top hole but the three holes are large enough to place a wall mounting screw in and mount it to a wall if needed. This unit appears to be made of anodized aluminum and stainless steel. It comes with a pair of gloves for some reason but I have no idea why they are included. The only negative I have with this unit is that you cant take the unit to the threads as its so big. For example if I have a hole in a tight spot , I first have to to find the right bolt to use in the thread and then take the bolt to the unit to find out the size.Overall this is a good unit that can be mounted and save you some time in the shop. If you make a lot of trips to the hardware store, this tool can really save you some time and repeat trips.

As someone who has been machining for over 15 years, I must say this is well done. This main piece of aluminum appears to be anodized red with the white writing added post. You can tell because of the line that goes into the threads. It is scratch resistance with fingers. The threads and treaded posts are burr FREE. Yes BURR Free. The aluminum was definitely run in a sand tumbler. This is really Well Done.

This has a premiere spot on my tool bench because it’s so useful! I use this all the time to quickly check bolts as I’m sorting them or pulling apart something. The threads are all cut very nicely on it, and the finish keeps it looking nice. It also has rubber feet on it that keep it off the bench so you can screw longer screws in and verify that the threads are working properly.
